The issue of IPA Istanbul Magazine numbered 2021/002 was published to show the life in the northern areas of Istanbul. In this issue, articles are dealing with the rich historical background of Istanbul, its northern forest villages, rural-cultural heritage, the entire ecosystem in the north, the buffalo population and the history of water structures in the context of the city's water.
As Manuma Studio, we made illustrations to accompany all these contents. Each illustration used as a vignette along with the relevant content and they came together to form an abstract map of Istanbul.
